Is there a low-power light that will do the job? I don't like zappers. The noise of insects dying drives me bonkers. http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/ They work far better than cintronella. There is a flame, but it's tiny and hidden. The wind does diminish the effectiveness. I use one on the deck... it's the best thing I've found so far. Oh, and the hose end "Yard Guard" is good stuff too. You spray your yard, shrubbery and even the exterior surfaces of your house with this stuff. You have to wait for it to dry, and it does wash away in the rain, but for an "event" you can apply in the morning and that afternoon / evening you'll have a nearly bug-free time. Thanks, Jack. Both look good. Y'all may laugh, and I've mentioned this before, but this stuff works for mosquitoes and no-see-ums better than anything else I've ever used. Safe for human use. http://www.arcatapet.com/item.cfm?cat=12313 Eisboch Good tip. Thanks! Should be good for camping trips also. -- Proud member of the angry mob.
