Democrats bit the dust, a hint of what November will bring...

How long was that seat liberal-democrat? 46 years or more? Well, tells
you what people think about Obamanomics, liberal corruption-debt-spend
and liberal health care tax grab.

Obama's honeymoon just ended with one year in office. One year of
Ombama has democrats voting republican. LMAO.

Some democrat aught to email this to Obama:

It does, it has been said it was the seat the Republicans could _never_
win. I guess that democrat statement just hit the BS pile with the rest.

Now lets see if Obama is arrogant enough to think it does not mater. My
guess is like Chrysler, GM and numerous banks, he will figure out some
way to ignore the people and tax grab health care. Just so a debt-spend
crazy liberal can spend.

November 2010 is going to have me glued to the tube.

The Dems can still put the bill through with the "reconciliation" clause
which requires a vote of 51, so the fat lady hasn't sung yet. It WILL be
interesting now to see the tap-dancing and posturing of Democrats who are up
for re-election. Some have already declared, "I'm out of here" and won't be
running. They are smart men who know they can take their spoils and retire
comfortably. The greedy and stupid will stay, and take what they get. An
armed insurrection is in order to clean the Halls of Congress.

Massachusetts politics is a bit different than in most states, I think.
Although generally regarded as
one of the "bluest" of the blue states, it has often amazed me at the number
of conservative political
views that are expressed and held here, even among registered Democrats.

Overall, those who are registered Democrats tend to be far more conservative
than those more liberal Democrats found in other states. If you recall,
these MA conservative Democrats swung MA for Reagan twice, and although
still predominately Democratic, MA often elects a Republican governor.

I'd also suspect your state's conservatives aren't as conservative as in
many states. As an example, your newest Senator would be considered
quite Liberal in some states. What do you think of him? He seems like a

I would agree. I have friends here that have been lifetime Democrats and
others
who are lifetime Republicans. The Dems tend to be more conservative than
those
elsewhere and the Republicans tend to be more liberal.

Virtually all of them are disgusted with the current crop of Washington DC

But like most liberal debt mongers, they insisted on low rates and to

I have C More flagged, but shall answer to the comments anyway. I wouldn't
consider running for office because of the same reason any top exec won't.
If you're a good exec, you go in the first day, and like the new alpha male
lion in a pride, you kill all the cubs of the previous alpha male. Then you
fire people left and right who can't justify their presence. Then you
analyze each department and start chopping. The system won't allow anyone
who knows anything about business to do this. And I mean people like truck
drivers and hairdressers who have a better grasp of the "system" then the
people running this ship. They know that they have to make do on what comes
in, and that even stuff bought on promise of future payments has to be paid
for at some time.

Besides they, like me, wouldn't tolerate the pay cut.

Steve ;-)

Hey Steve, you and I could probably make this league.

A new professional basketball league, planned for launch in twelve
cities, will only include white males who are born in the U.S. Don
"Moose" Lewis announced the All-American Basketball Alliance just a
day before Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"Only players that are natural born United States citizens with both
parents of Caucasian race are eligible to play in the league,"
according to a press release, distributed Sunday.

Lewis denies that he a racist but he wants to get away from "street
ball" played by "people of color" that dominate the NBA. "Would you
want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or
attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?" he said.

The Augusta Chronicle talked to Lewis Monday.

"There's nothing hatred about what we're doing," he said. "I don't
hate anyone of color. But people of white, American-born citizens are
in the minority now. Here's a league for white players to play
fundamental basketball, which they like."

Lewis said he wants to emphasize fundamental basketball instead of
"street-ball" played by "people of color." He pointed out recent
incidents in the NBA, including Gilbert Arenas' indefinite suspension
after bringing guns into the Washington Wizards locker room, as
examples of fans' dissatisfaction with the way current professional
sports are run.

Not surprisingly, not everyone is happy about the idea of a "whites
only" league. Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver says the league isn't
welcome in his city.

"As a sports enthusiast, I have always supported bringing more
sporting activities to Augusta," said Deke. "However, in this instance

The Dems can still put the bill through with the "reconciliation" clause
which requires a vote of 51, so the fat lady hasn't sung yet. It WILL
be interesting now to see the tap-dancing and posturing of Democrats who
are up for re-election. Some have already declared, "I'm out of here"

I could not support in good conscience bringing in a team that did not
fit with the spirit of inclusiveness that I, along with many others,
have worked so hard to foster in our city."

Wow...a new club for Republicans...

And by today's newspeak revision of the term "rich", anyone who makes over

Yes, agreed. Black folks are lazy, good for nothing and a drain on
society. It's time we had an insurrection in Washington DC to let
congress know we're serious.

The Jews protect the Blacks and Gays for some strange reason. Seems
like they'd be better of helping to protect the rich, since they're
all rich folks who own the banks and television.

Good luck with your efforts Steve. Hope you find a big cadre of folks
who want to join your DC crusade and take the country back for the
people who do the real work in this country.

I'm sure Hannity will help you if you ask.

i love it. this guy thinks obama's been president for 8 years. the
depression started in dec. 2007. guess he forgot bush was president
back then.

I know full well when the depression started, and agree. When Democrat
congress say interest rates invert over inflation, they did squat with
the banks to raise raise rates. It isn't Bush that deterimines interest
rates, this ia congress-federal reserve.

actually congress has zip to do with it. the fed is an independent
institution

But like most liberal debt mongers, they insisted on low rates and to
hell with the pending depression.

Now you have a president that thinks he can debt-bailout-spend his way
out of debt.

a policy developed under bush because the GOP stole SO much money from
the middle class it has zip left to spend

it's no wonder rich incomes increased by over 200% in the last 10
years while middle class incomes went DOWN

pendulum swings, this is normal", less than a year ago were saying the
Republican party was dead, "and might not come back for decades". Looks
like Pelosi and Reid ruined things for President Obama. To bad really,
it will be a shame for the first Black President to go down in history
as another failure like Jimi Carter... Ugh, who I voted for;)
