What is the big deal? Isn't socilaism great as long as someone else pays for it? ditto for capitalism working folks just paid for the socialism for the rich Agreed. Bailouts are socialism for the rich and that is why Obamanomics and Democrats are not working to fix the economy. They are 100% in denial of the basic issues at hand. America is broke from overspending. This includes government, not just debt mongers. Until the WORKING parts of this country (including Canada) get more money there is an economic imbalance that will drive the depression. At least Reagan had it half right, lower taxes. Imagine if Obama/democrats lowered income taxes by say $2 trillion instead of funneling it to back room corruption we would be in an economic boom by now. If they were even wiser, cutting federal spending by $2 trillion, the depression/recession would be over without the unsustainable debt bubble. But now it is worse than ever, with the debt now racked up and a tolet economy, democrats just made it a whole lot worse than if they did nothing. Democrats including Obama sold out the backbone of the USA, the moddle class. Now tax-enslaved for corrupt corporations of America. |

What is the big deal? Isn't socilaism great as long as someone else pays for it? Fortunately, you don't have to worry about it, since you're not planning on coming back to the US. Wrong'obama-your mama influences us up here. The official opposition leader is from the same alumni as Obama, preaching the same crap of debt-tax spend up here. We are where the US will be under Obamanation. Canada contributed over $100 billion of debt-corruption-bailout spend in 2009, given our population base at least as big of a screwing. And they are American corporations, not Canadian. In fact, GM/Chrylser/banks left Ottawa so far in the hole they didn't touch NorTel...let it die. It isn't just California, Ontario, Quebec and BC are in financial issues now too, same reason, too much liberal debt-spending. If I move to south or central America, get that cheap 15% foreign investment tax rate. Why would I move into a high tax rate area? To pay for Obamanation? I am not that charitable. |

working folks just paid for the socialism for the rich Agreed. Bailouts are socialism for the rich and that is why Obamanomics and Democrats are not working to fix the economy. They are 100% in denial of the basic issues at hand. it's the only channel for money the rich have left us. the program was started by bernanke, chairman of the fed under a guy named bush, who was president for the last 8 years America is broke from overspending. america is broke from the rich gaming the financial system, knowing that the middle class would be forced to bail them out. conservatives sold the 'free market' fundamentalism long enough so that any regulation of derivatives, and other financial instruments was washed away.... and they're fighting to prevent regulation today. the GOP, of course, is doing the heavy lifting for wall street, calling any type of regulation 'interference' in the 'free market'...whatever that is This includes government, not just debt mongers. Until the WORKING parts of this country (including Canada) get more money there is an economic imbalance that will drive the depression. At least Reagan had it half right, lower taxes. reagan was one of the biggest spenders in history AND the middle class made NO economic gains under his 8 years of mismanagement. the rich got IMMENSELY richer you guys just keep shoveling this stuff, don't you? reagan was a socialist...for the rich Imagine if Obama/democrats lowered income taxes the GOP has, over the last 30 years, reduced capital gains from 38% to 15% how'd that work out? by say $2 trillion instead of funneling it to back room corruption we would be in an economic boom by now. If they were even wiser, cutting federal spending by $2 trillion, the depression/recession would be over without the unsustainable debt bubble. fine. we can cut the dept of defense. $640B right away. what you gonna cut? But now it is worse than ever, with the debt now racked up and a tolet economy, democrats just made it a whole lot worse than if they did nothing. Democrats including Obama sold out the backbone of the USA, the moddle class. Now tax-enslaved for corrupt corporations of America. no economist agrees with you; neither conservative nobel winner gary becker, nor liberal nobel winner paul krugman. |
