can't cut govt spending. that's the whole point. the rich have
structured the economy so the middle class has no discretionary
spending power. we're living paycheck to paycheck. the only
institution left that can bolster the economy is the govt

- big reduction of income taxes targeted right square at the middle
class. They will wonder if their employer screwed up and paid them too
much.

now THIS might work. and in our society it would never go.
conservatives have NEVER proposed a middle class tax cut. reagan's
philosophy was the laffer curve...supply side economics...cut taxes
for the rich and all would be fine.

we see it continuing today in the GO candidate for senator in MA...his
programs consists of tax cuts for business.
