Default How to cruise

With my sailboat at Tarpon Springs, she is about 250 miles from the
place on lake Okechobee where I want her hauled. So, how to get her
there. By ICW, it is no longer than by going on the outside to Fort
Myers but on the outside one can cruise at night cutting the overall
time down. However, I am not sure if sailing overnight is really
faster for a single handed sailor because he eventually has to stop
and sleep for a long time. (I am not sure my daughter will be with me
on this next leg of the trip).
