Weather like that is rare on the West Coast of Florida in the spring. You get that kind of stuff a lot more on the Atlantic side. I always thought the nasty chop in the Chesapeake bay was a whole lot worse than anything you usually see in the Gulf. That is why you regularly see 16' runabouts and 20' pontoon boats 8-10 miles offshore around here. Yeah, I guess it's a different animal on this side of FL. |
