John H Al the Wop's in the Sacramento Delta will refund the docking fees at the Dockhouse in Locke when you have dinner there. Other places have guest docks. On our last trip we stopped at a city dock in Alexandria, about a block from a Starbucks. Spent a few hours roaming the streets and sitting in the park - admiring the Key West boat in the water.
