First New Years resolution I ever made, to give up alcohol and drink
far less coffee. Both were giving me serious heartburn and it had gotten so I cannot even drink beer because of it. Considering I prob have more caffeine in my blood than hemoglobin, it had to be alcohol I gave up but 12 cups of coffee a day probably is too much. So, with only 3 cups in the morning and it being too cold outside to do anything am feelin a bit tense. |

Maybe only 11 cups, but they'd have to be 8oz cups, not those chintzy 6oz jobs. |

Alot of stuff you enjoy is had to give up, but for the better. for me, no more 1/2 lb hershey bars (1 a night) No more big bag of chips, or doritos, or corn curls ( from top to the last crumb), cutting out on salt. less beef and pork, and more fish. Eat more breakfast and less supper. But I ain't giving up coffee! |

Rotisserie chickens, with a lot of celery and onions, make some great soup, into which you can throw some brown rice. |

Real chicken soup requires onions, salt, bay leaves, carrots, celery, thyme, parsley, pepper, water, and, of course, chicken, which you cook first and then skin. What's in your homemade tomato sauce, herring? Ketchup? |

Remember, he uses the boil in the bag method of cooking turkey. |
