Looks like those in my neck o the woods are going to be

cold!

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...day= Saturday

Now that the holidays are over...including some cold dry weather, we're
into
our usual dreary damp weather.
We have quite a bit of snow on the ground right now with more falling
as we
speak.
Darn...should have bought 4 snow tires for the RAV4
http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/..._metric_e.html

I hope you purchased the AWD option for your Toyota!

Yup...had no choice last year...the 2009 models sold in Canada all came
with that 'option'.
I see we've gone 'merican in 2010...we can save a couple grand buying a
front wheel drive model.

The RAVs are pretty good "snowmobiles." There's lots of 'em around here,
and they were doing very well in the storm we just had.

Right now, it is about 20F in my backyard, with gusty winds. I'd guess the
wind chill makes it feel about 7F. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's as cold as a
conservative's heart.

It's still fairly mild here...just above freezing.
Just got in from shovelling..... that heavy hard stuff thrown into the
driveway by the city plows can be tiresome.

Now thet're getting smart. No sense in wasting 4WD on a city slicker.

Apparently flajim has mated with loogy and snotty scotty, and the result
is a harry id spoofer who spells worse than any of them.

Don't you prefer the AWD in Canada?

That's an odd AWD system. Most run continuously and the computer makes
adjustments for traction on the fly. Can you lock it on? You might
have 4WD and not AWD.
