Personally I think Medicare is screwed up. And that is from a person who benefits. When I paid $1200 a month for wife and I we had a $15 copay for GP and $30 for specialist. Now I go and nothing costs me anything. Until my wife hits the donut hole for drugs. So seniors probably go for any little ache. Run it more like any other insurance plan. Copays, etc. Those who can not afford the copay because of income get a tax credit for the copay as long as they do not abuse the system. I could buy into that. |
