Fair question. Here's my answer... Bush should have concentrated on
capturing and killing bin laden and his cronies. He failed not just to do
that, but he failed to even try very hard.

Why do you think we weren't looking for Osama? Obama has had it as his
stated goal for almost a year, having a pretty good idea where he is
and we still keep coming up empty. If Osama is really still alive and
living in those tribal areas on the Afghan/Pakistan boarder, he will
probably die of old age unless we just get real lucky.

OBL is really sticking it to the US and the rest of the Western world by
living the lavish life style of an elder in the tribal regions between
Afghanistan and Pakistan. Looking over your shoulder seeing if someone
is going to turn you in or kill you is a hell of a way to live.

Personally I am not sure he is even alive and if he is, so what?
Do you really think the primitive things that we keep getting hit with
require some criminal genius to come up with?

OBL was emasculated. He hides in caves, travels at night and can't show
himself in any world capitals. Or in any cities of any size.

If we caught OBL tomorrow and killed him, there would be 10 more guys
waiting to take his place. Us killing innocent people all over that
region creates more terrorists than we can kill. If Afghanistan is
really the cradle of terrorism, why to we enable them by making the US
the target of choice?

There is no value in chasing down OBL. Leave him as the mythical leader
of Al-Qaieda. Let the fear of him showing up prevent the Al-Qaieda
lieutenants from taking over.

In real life, if we ran all the terrorists out of Afghanistan, they
would pop up in Somalia, Yemen or some other rogue nation where we
have no influence..

Keep them in one place fighting the great Satan, where the great Satan
can more easily kill them. Just like we did in Iraq.

Islam seeks world domination and they will not stop trying to achieve
that goal unless they are all dead.

Yup, Bush had a great strategy. Lure the *******s to Iraq and kill
'em. Got a bunch of 'em killed too.

Obama thinks they're just nice guys with a bad upbringing who will
listen to reason if he can get them to the negotiating table.
