I'd rather eat the local crabs (last time up that way, we ate at Captain Billy's, which isn't the best....) from the Potomac region than the AK stuff....... I'd have to disagree on this one. The blue crabs are, to me, more flavorful than the dungeness, but it's damn hard to get any meat out of them. The local crabs are fine, though I'm not a big fan of the spice. I like alaskan king and west coast dungeness crabs...lotsa meat, not a lot of work. We ate at a vietnamese/chinese seafood family restaurant a few weeks ago in San Franciso that was just terrific. Had dungeness...best I've ever had. The entire 53 foot trailers content was worth $250,000. When I got to J- Ville, the guy at the business sold me a WHOLE case of Lobster Tails, cheap.They were delicious. A cargo worth hijacking! No way, he needs something he can shovel in quickly. |
