Nope, just stab wounds. Good thing she didn't have a gun, eh?

Bad thing is, he DIDN'T have a gun.....

Yeah, they should have both had guns. Because a parking space is
worth that much and humans are *completely* in charge of their
emotions.

Just seeing this. You saying somebody was trying to rip off a parking
space from somebody else?
That's some heavy stuff.
Think in the old days they called that kind of "perp" a rustler.
No, maybe squatter. Anyway, probably ended in a gunfight.
Well, maybe if they were sodbusters they'd go after each other with
shovels. I didn't even know they made icepicks any more.
Can't remember the last time I saw an ice pick. Probably 40 years.
Never trust a woman who keeps an ice pick or straight razor in her
purse. And if she has a peg leg she's probably even more dangerous.
I heard once that to commit the perfect murder you stab the victim in
the eye with an icicle. Similar to an icepick, but the weapon melts.
Hard to get it to the crime scene in the summer without a good cooler.
BTW, peg legs are usually associated with pirates, who spend a lot of
time on boats.

Thanks for the entertainment. They still sell ice picks up here. You
can get block ice for coolers and, as you undoubtedly remember, it's
fun to chip off various sized pieces to cool your favorite libation.

If you do a quick search for the perp, you'll find a picture of a
little girl. When she gets out of wherever she's going, I'll be glad
to know that the law forbids her to own a gun. Think that'll stop her
from finding one?

She can go to Virginia and buy one without ID or a background check.
Such a purdy little thing ain't likely to cause any harm with a gun...

When I was a lad, living summers on a farm in the Ozarks, the
highlight of the week was to ride into Doniphan in the bed of my
grand dads' Ford pickup to get block ice from the ice house.
This was in the mid-50's
Wrapped the block in burlap feed bags and got it home with no
noticeable melt. It was for the icebox, as there was no refrigerator.
Don't remember handing the icepick myself, and there was never ice in
what we drank. Only remember drinking water, pulled with a bucket
from the well, and everybody used the dipper that stayed in the
bucket. Cool when the bucket was fresh, mineral laden, and delicious.
Summers were hot there.
Outhouse with the Sears catalog paper dispenser, Saturday bath in the
washtub, run around in your underpants, check your ears and balls for
ticks every night, and wake up most days with a couple spider bites.
The ice man was still making the rounds in Chicago about the same
time, but we had fridge there.
Think I used an icepick once in my life, sometimes later.
Seen maybe 5 different ones in my entire sheltered life.
Seen a lot more packing pullers and mech scribes than icepicks.
Might have bought 20 bags of crushed ice in my entire life for
coolers. You got me thinking I've lived a wasted life.
Does Walmart carry icepicks?
Might pick up a couple while there's still time.
Find a block of ice and a bottle of liquor.
Hey! You trying to make me an alcoholic?

Of course not. But thanks for making the point... when guns are
outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.....

Is that a talking point, Gene?

Couldn't the profuse number of cheap handguns manufactured in the past
several decades account for their easy availability?

Golly, we should certainly thank the NRA and congress for ensuring
everyone can be armed several times over, no matter their mental
capacity or criminal history.

I don't like cheap handguns. I buy fairly expensive ones.... :)
