Nope, just stab wounds. Good thing she didn't have a gun, eh?

Bad thing is, he DIDN'T have a gun.....

Yeah, they should have both had guns. Because a parking space is
worth that much and humans are *completely* in charge of their
emotions.

I'll bet neither one of them would have been sorry for having shot the
other one to death. Is that your take, Gene?

My take is that, if she had come at me with an ice pick, she would be
the one with ".40 puncture marks." Once mayhem was in that darling
little 18 year old's mind, we changed gears and the "why" didn't
matter anymore.

A baby faced 18 year old, armed with an ice pick, assaulting a perfect
stranger over some imagined trivial event. Now, THAT is why we have
CCLs......

Yes, a gun vs. an ice pick. And what if she pulled a gun out and
before you recognized the threat, she started firing?

She might have won that one too...

Sure didn't help the cops in Tacoma, even with open carry holsters.

Think it'd be easier to get to your weapon than the trained cops?

You betcha.

Ice Pick Murder?

If someone stole my parking space I'd been waiting for I'd likely give
'em the salute but I seriously doubt I'd get out to argue with them or
pull a gun or an ice pick.

A skinny old fart once took my parking space. He saw me waiting, and slid
in with a small car like in Fried Green Tomatoes. He got out. I got out of
my car, but stood in the open door.

"You're a brave man", I said.

"Why's that?" he asked.

"You just stole my parking space, and now you're going to leave me here with
your car." I got in and drove to another space. He was standing by his
car. I went in and got a few items, about ten minutes. When I came out, he
was still standing by his car. As I drove off, I could still see him
standing next to his car.

At least I made him think about it.

Steve
