SPRINGFIELD, Mo. ?
A Missouri teenager is accused of stabbing a man with an ice pick in a
dispute over a parking spot.
Eighteen-year-old Caitlen Watkins of Springfield was charged Monday in
Greene County with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
According to court documents, Watkins and a passenger in her car
confronted another driver Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping
center after he took a parking place Watkins wanted.
Witnesses told police a fight broke out and the other driver was
stabbed half a dozen times with a wooden-handled, 5-inch ice pick.
Police say the other driver suffered a punctured kidney.
A judge set Watkins' bond at $75,000. She did not have a lawyer. She
has not yet had a hearing or entered a plea.
It is good for her that he didn't have a gun.
It's a shame he didn't have one. She needed to be put down like the
rabid bitch she is.

Is she a relative of yours? Wouldn't surprise me to learn she was, eh,
jackoff? Hey, is your gov going out of town for the holidays?

**Jackass Alert**

This is someone spoofing me.

i say "DANGER DANGER", NOT JACKASS ALERT.

Yup.

Actually the death rate from knife wounds and handgun wounds is about
the
same. 20-22%. This excludes minor cuts where the knife does not really
enter the body.

Your inability to reason is showing. Your statistic shows how many
people choose guns (70%) as compared to knives (14%) to commit
murder. Bill's statistic (the death rate) shows how many of each kind
of attack are actually fatal, 20-22%. Two different things, at least
to thinking people.

Huh? It shows how many were killed by each weapon of choice. Murder is
usually fatal. What a dopey person.

Yeah, they should have both had guns. Because a parking space is
worth that much and humans are *completely* in charge of their
emotions.

I'll bet neither one of them would have been sorry for having shot the
other one to death. Is that your take, Gene?

Just seeing this. You saying somebody was trying to rip off a parking
space from somebody else?
That's some heavy stuff.
Think in the old days they called that kind of "perp" a rustler.
No, maybe squatter. Anyway, probably ended in a gunfight.
Well, maybe if they were sodbusters they'd go after each other with
shovels. I didn't even know they made icepicks any more.
Can't remember the last time I saw an ice pick. Probably 40 years.
Never trust a woman who keeps an ice pick or straight razor in her
purse. And if she has a peg leg she's probably even more dangerous.
I heard once that to commit the perfect murder you stab the victim in
the eye with an icicle. Similar to an icepick, but the weapon melts.
Hard to get it to the crime scene in the summer without a good cooler.
BTW, peg legs are usually associated with pirates, who spend a lot of
time on boats.

Instead of laying in a hospital with a punctured kidney, he'd be home
with his family, and the taxpayers wouldn't have to pay for the
violent felon's room and board.

Just hose down the parking lot and move on. Next person thinks twice
before attacking with deadly force. Works for me.

Thanks for the entertainment. They still sell ice picks up here. You
can get block ice for coolers and, as you undoubtedly remember, it's
fun to chip off various sized pieces to cool your favorite libation.

If you do a quick search for the perp, you'll find a picture of a
little girl. When she gets out of wherever she's going, I'll be glad
to know that the law forbids her to own a gun. Think that'll stop her
from finding one?

She can go to Virginia and buy one without ID or a background check.
Such a purdy little thing ain't likely to cause any harm with a gun...

Of course not. But thanks for making the point... when guns are
outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.....
