Default Am ready to go cruising

My boat is now ready to go cruising and I will be ready to leave the
second day after Christmas. I will sail from St Marks, FL (upper Gulf
coast on the Big Bend) down to Clearwater and then to Ft. Myers and
then to a marina on Lake Okeechobee where she will be hauled and
painted. Then on to the East Coast to probably Lauderdale and then
across to West End where I will turn her over to my 2 yr old daughter
and boyfriend for a 1 month cruise.

Your two year old daughter has a boyfriend who is going to take her on a
cruise?

Yeah, those are Cereian years (asteroid Ceres) equates to 23 earth
years. The month long cruise is a graduation gift as she just
graduated with her BS in biology.

What marina did you choose on Lake Okeechobee?

Let me know if you need a dock in the Ft Myers area.

is a good EMAIL address but let me
know on here if you send anything.

Wayne: I have not chosen yet, it would seem to be too "confident"
knowing how weather can affect sailors. Your thoughts? I am a little
concerned because I have not been able to get her bottom cleaned by a
diver lately (too cold) so I will only be able to get to about a few
feet under water with the 4' long scraper. This will cost me about
1/2 kt. I'll take you up on your offer to stop for a night if you'll
give me directions. You may regret it cuz I painted my dinghy with
ultra-fluorescent yellow that'll burn retinas at 100 yards. That
yellow glow you see in the distance comign nearer will be us.

I'll drop you an EMAIL at your Mindspring address. Your best bet
for a marina is probably Owl Creek at Alva or Glades Boat Yard in
Moorehaven.

If you just need the bottom cleaned it may be possible to get a diver
in my area.
