I've never thought of boxing as a "drunken wedding hokey-pokey".
Interesting.

Golf is a bit like ballet. Far more atheletic than it appear,
requires a fine touch, in reality is difficult to do well, and can be
boring to watch. Good analogy.

I agree that golf is boring in person. It's like watching a movie being
filmed. B-O-R-I-N-G. On TV, though, they can change cameras to different
holes, the action is pretty continuous, you only have to walk to the fridge
and bathroom, and the beers aren't $7.
