You're right in that he flew a super cub as well in his shows, as well as the Waco for which he was the most famous. He died in a collision with another performer at an airshow 4-5 years ago as I recall. --Mike |

I saw Franklin's act at the Lakefront airport out towards the Industrial Canal in New Orleans - funniest thing I ever saw in an airplane - early '70s and he had been doing that act for a long time then. |
