Kids are coming up and we're all going downtown to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra do their thing. Can't wait! You will have a great time! Watch for the action in the back after the "intermission". Rob There wasn't any intermission! The show went for an hour and fifty minutes, with no intermission. After they finished the Christmas portion, they went into music from their 'Night Castle' album. Some was great, some was 'white noise' to my untrained ears. OK. It wasn't a conventional intermission. I was referring to the point where they stopped and did all of the introductions. Rob Not sure what action, other than when the two get on the rising platform. I wish there had been a point during the show when each of the instrumentalists did a solo, just to show off their own sounds. The drummer did, but I wanted to hear that cute violinist by herself. That was it. Here's your girl in action: http://www.annaphoebe.com/Video-2009TSOPromo.htm Rob I would swear that is the Verizon Center downtown. Looks exactly like the show we saw. But, she's still not playing solo damnit. Look further on her site. There are some solo clips. OK, thanks. I see there are a lot of her on You Tube also. -- John H |
