He posted a CBS News article.
I do my kids' taxes, so I looked at what I filed.
One daughter didn't make enough to pay taxes last year, as she's in
school full time.
But her 2007 return shows adjustable gross of 12,548.00, taxable
income of 3,798.00, and total tax of 300.00. Tax rate 2.38%.
So that 43.4% figure is wacky to me, unless hardly anybody is working.
Or nobody's making any money at their work.
Think it's an example of statistics and lies.
