Holy ****, that is the worst clip I have ever seen on youtube.... Man, I
might have nightmares. Do you guys really listen to stuff like that? I
mean my mom was a classically trained singer and she never did anything
like that...

I won't sleep well tonight.

Here - this will help.

Believe it or not, Scott, I do listen to Opera, and Boston, and
Wagner, and Steppenwolfe, John Lee hooker, Taj Mahal, Brahms, etc. I
appreciate people who are more talented than I. But that doesn't take
much.

?;^ )

I also listen to lots of stuff, but never liked opera.

I'm sure you've heard Rossini's "Barber of Seville." It's hard not to
enjoy, especially for Looney Tunes afficianados.

Show music is something different, I do enjoy it. Was involved with
lots of plays with my mom as a kid, Man of LaMancha, Pajama Game, Lil'
Abner, Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, and several other
less known shows... I still find Luck be a lady tonight stuck in my
head, along with a few others every once in a while...

"Fiddler on the Roof"!! Great stuff!

In one production I was the Russian Soldier who married the younger
daughter... In Lil Abner, I was Speedy McRabbit! Guys and Dolls the
director did a funny and made me "Big Jule" and my boss was about 6 feet
tall but I got sick and never got to finish the production... We had a
blast, and of course there are always lots of girls around those
productions... I hated the attention, NOT...

My kids were in the local High School production of "Fiddler on the
Roof." My son was the Rabbi. I had introduced my children to the
movie version, with Topol, years earlier. My son was also in "Beauty
and the Beast," playing the part of Gaston's sidekick. He had gotten
a scholarship in college in musical production. Unfortunately, he
never stayed with it. He's a bit of an underachiever.
