I subscribe to OedipusColoneus on Youtube so that I can on occasion relax with some mellow music. And if it's an exceptional piece, I'll download it. Sometimes, when I'm working in the evenings, I'll bring up my Youtube subscriptions, and I'll look up the most recent Oedipus submissions. I'll select one and return to the project at hand. I'm sure you've had that experience, Tim, in which you are focused on reading or some other mental chore, you perfunctorily pick up your drink, and you're hit with that peculiar taste dichotomy. You expect to taste fresh-brewed coffee, and you're actually accosted by a battery-acid soft drink. That's what I experienced when I finally glanced at the video. What I saw wasn't what I was expecting relative to what I had been listening to. This is just a meager vignette, though.
