The achievements of all previous winners have been diminished. And the last sentence says it all. And you can expect no comments from the usual suspects... It's a damn shame. Here Don proudly posts an article about the accomplishments of some folks up his way - enough to earn a Nobel prize. A couple days later this fiasco occurs, giving the medal all the prestige of a golf ball marker. Damn shame. John, does this now mean that If can actually type an exceptional sentence with perfect spelling. I could be up for a Pulitzer? What's the going rate for a Pulitzer these days? |
