I love flying small planes, and have piloted ones from powered
parachutes to ultra lights to Bonanzas. Owned a cheap Piper and a
couple
of Cessna 172's in partnership with three others of like minds.

Hung up the Clark aviation headset after one of my former plane owner
partners and dear friend crashed and burned in his Bonanza

Damn...we do have something in common, Lu-ser. I gave up taking flying
lessons when I learned of the death of one of my buddies, the
redoubtable
Morgan O'Leary, in the crash of his private plane.
So let's be civil. I quit calling you WAFA; you quit calling me Lu-ser. We
both quit sniping over politics and other crap that doesn't amount to a
hill
of beans. First time either one of us personally attacks the other, truce
is
off. Deal?

I can say this 'cause Harry has me filtered and can't see it. So,
don't respond.

I tried the same tact with HK. He wouldn't (couldn't ?) go for it.
Perhaps if you promised to say evening prayers to Mesiah 'Bama he'd go
for it.

Good luck.

Prime example why nothing changes here. Everyone blaming the other guy.
As a former senior officer in the US Army...you should know better and be
the first to set a good example.

You can't control your own house. Why do you pretend to....OK, got it.

Actually, I told Lu I'd be happy to accommodate him if he'd talk some
about fishing and boating in his immediate area. I guess I was too subtle.

Gene, how often do you see me direct a message to Harry?

Once a month?

Foment anxiety? You mean like try to worry people?

Or did you mean to say, "Foment acrimony?"

And, lastly, why not direct your comments to Harry - ever? Seems a
little one-sided, no?

Stop your moaning & bitching. Gene is just stating what he feels would
improve the newsgroup.
Don't forget...most here are wise to your act.

And I like the idea of improving the news group. I just think Gene
should share his ideas equally.

Don't you think stopping the personal insults and name-calling would
be a good idea?

I think it would be fantastic if you could control your Dopey Army
irregulars. This would eliminate 75% of the problem.

Herring seems to be permanently passive-aggressive these days, from what
little I see of his "posts." I wonder when he plans to follow his own
advice and stop the "personal insults and name calling." He's never done
that.

Don, if I recall correctly, you said it's possible to be responsible
only for oneself. I will work on me, are you willing to work on you?

As I mentioned earlier, this 'Dopey Army' you keep referring to is
your concoction. I control no one, as you well know.

So, don't you think a cessation of the name-calling, like 'Dopey
Army', would be a good idea?

Well, well..aren't you the natural born leader.
You recruit, train and send them out to do your dirty work. When you lose
control you abandon them.
Is this what you learned in VietNam?
