Don't really know for sure but boating activity in general is on the
decline due to the economy so it wouldn't be surprising if marina
traffic is down also.

This sure looks like a bad time to try to sell one of those
"dockominiums" that was going for $300,000 a few years ago.

My niece seems to stay pretty busy up there in Ridge Md

Several marinas started construction during the boom but never
completed up here in NW Florida. Many slips available.

When i was in Ft. Lauderdale a couple years ago, there didn't really
seem to be that much activity going on. Hatteras' and Chris crafts
lined up wating for customers.

Most of the biggest and best of that genre are custom built in the
North Carolina area near the Outer Banks. Things were already
starting to slow down for them 2 years ago and it's gotten
considerably worse since then from what I hear.
