are you talking about Republicans, who didn't lift a finger when Bush spent
like crazy?

The Dems didn't convince anyone "lib=good." It was the Republicans
who convinced everyone that "conservatives = bad."

They've co-opted the definition of conservative. It now means greedy,
selfish, protector of corporate welfare, evangelical, two-faced,
family values (ha!), liar.

The Dems just had to stand there with their hands in their pockets
while the Reps destroyed their party and damned near the country.
