It said the citizens of the United States were going to blame the Republicans for failing to deliver health care reform at a rate of 2:1 over Democrats. Think that's going to help get seats back for the party of the rich? |

Think that's going to help get seats back for the party of the rich? Go back and read. I didn't say Democrats were blaming Republicans, and I didn't say Democrats were stupid. (I'd *never* say something like that.) It was stupid for anyone to blame congressional Republicans. The Democrats could pass the bill on their own. If it doesn't pass, then *only* the Democrats should be blamed. In other words, if it passes, blame the Democrats. If it doesn't, blame the Democrats. It's their baby, just like the Afghan war, 'bama's 'War of Necessity'. (Whoops!) -- John H |

That's a pretty large leap you took... hope you didn't hurt yourself. Two things are for sure... if the Dems want to pass a health care bill, the Republicans can't stop them. And those 37% of the people that will blame the Republicans if a bill isn't passed are not too smart, are liberals, or both. After all, conservatives aren't going to "blame" Republicans if a bill they don't want isn't passed... they'd give them, and the Dems that came to their senses the *credit* for it not passing, right? Think about it. |
