Default Great boat radio

No, not VHF, but for some tunes...

The new boat had a Kenwood AM/FM/CD marine radio, and it needed (and I
bought) and additional adapter to hookup Sirius to it. Never was
happy with the results, and it had no ipod interface.

I ended up buying and installing one of these:

No CD transport, but it has AM/FM, a direct Sirius interface, as well
as a native ipod/iphone connection, and a USB 2.0 connection for
memory sticks or mini hard drives loaded with MP3s.

The flip-down faceplate hides a water-resistant compartment for the
USB and ipod devices, and all the main electronics are housed in a
seperate enclosure you can hide in/under the helm. I've been really
happy with this one!
