Probably about how to snitch on their parents. This is scary. *This is sick. Steve could be worse. under bush it was legal to throw people in prison without charge, without a lawyer and without due process. you right wingers didn't have much to say then, did you? More 'Bush Rationale'. nomdeplume *- *this is a fine example. -- Calling an Illegal Alien an "Undocumented Worker" is like calling a Crack Dealer an "Unlicensed Pharmacist" John H I do not think that the Pres has the authority to demand that he be given such time so schools are free to ignore him. *His message does not seem to address any educational issues. *Volunteerism is not part of education we have agreed to provide so his message is irrelevant. Any message from the president is no more relevant than any message from anybody else and a message from an educational authority might be acceptable if it was apolitical. *There does not seem to be any purpose of Oboma's message other than politics. As far as Bush throwing people in prison without charge, we discussed that in a previous thread, it simply did not happen even to Padilla, he was charged with "being an enemy combatant" but wf3h keeps changing his mind about what he means so the discussion went nowhere. *The questionable provisions of the Patriot act that I DID protest were later stricken. BTW, I AM a cracker and I consider it a compliment to be called one. |
