Congratulations on the boat. It is nice. *My second Contender, a 32 Fisharound, I used to love to go to the marina when storms came up - I'd just sit in the Captain's chair and watch the wind, listen to the sail boat rigging chime and watch the rain and waves. *I could do that for hours - wonderful. Turn in for the night in the cuddy and get the rest you can only get on a boat. I'm sure you will have some good times on that boat. By the way, I know you got a Tollycraft - how about some details? nice old '77, 26' sedan cruiser. new engine, fresh water cooled. i had an express cruiser several years ago and really like the open air feel of the sedan cruiser. single screw inboard which, the guy i bought it from, says it's a real bear to back down....trying to prepare the wife to grab the lines when i back it up against the pilings at the dock....so we'll see how it goes next weekend.... have a good one yourself! |
