first of all, the WSJ is hardly an objective source. it's a cheering
section for the folks who got us into this mess in the first place

further, it's their goal to oppose ANY provisions which level the
playing field in favor of the middle class. one person has called the
"WSJ" 'quaintly reactionary'. and it is.

Level the playing field? What can be more level than paying for the
services you receive? It's just like going to the grocery store, you
fill up your cart and go to the checkout, pay for your purchases and go
home.

some people by USDA choice and others buy USDA prime. Some by store
brand canned goods and others buy the major brands. Is it fair? No,
should the government step in and level the playing field so that we are
all buying USDA choice and store brand? I sure as hell hope not.

Putting this tax penalty into any health care legislation will truly
kill small business. Everybody makes honest tax mistakes but to get
penalized so much will drive most of us out of business. The
intention here seems to be to kill small business and make us all
dependent on govt hand-outs. All your mom and pop stores will go
under with the only outlets remaining will be Wal mart because they
can afford to fight these penalties. The dems know this and they
INTEND to drive small business under.
