My favorite part about touring any plantation in the south is that you always hear about the good slave owners, especially this guy in South Carolina near Charleston who was a preacher. He was a good slave owner because he taught the slave children how to read the bible. Freaking unbelievable that the docents would try and push that crap off on those taking a tour. |
