it took them 8 years to get us into this mess. in that time they
handed out trillions to their rich buddies on wall street and, in the
process, destroyed middle class assets THEN came begging to be bailed
out by the middle class

Frank said that Fannie Mae was sound so as to protect his lover who
was an exec there.

it's cute watching them blame a democratic congressman for something
that the GOP had the power to change any time they wanted....since
they were the majority party in 2005. AND it's funny watching them
blame frank, given it was free market fundies like the GOP congress
who, when clinton was president, deregulated the banking industry to
produce the fine, and excellent results we have today.

job well done! they trash the economy THEN blame it on a president who
wasn't even in power. to see the GOP tell it, obama's been president
for the last 12 years.
