Default bought a boat

Become familiar with the acronym BOAT - Bring Out Another Thousand ...

lol enjoy your new vessel.

If you have not done so already, become familiar with safety equipment
requirements and a course such as Power Squadron.

Should you be inspected by your local authority, failure is often a big
fine.
(lights, life vests, flares, anchors, heaving lines, fire extinquishers,
charts etc)

Yes, this late in the season. I had the bug, and was going through
withdrawal from having one a few years ago...

Bought a 'classic' (old) 1981 Tollycraft 26' sedan. Has FWC new
engine with less than 50 hours. Interior is clean but dated, as
expected for an old boat.

Didn't get a chance to check engine (boat is on land) but wrote sales
contract with my attorney (happens to be my wife) that states when
boat is put in water (2 weeks), all mechanical systems will be
functional and in working order or sale is cancelled.

Read up on Tolly craft before I bought; looks like a good boat; no
wood core.

So looking forward to spending weekends in Beach Haven, NJ...see you
on the water
