That is almost expected on I-40 west of Wilmington, NC.... otherwise you'll get run over. Then I suppose I'd be a traffic hazard, since I would not tow a boat that fast. Now you know why, except for my son's G3.... I don't tow..... I go the speed limit usually. But then, I've hauled much larger and heavier things than my bass boat. I found myself moving along pretty good this weekend a couple of times coming home from Maine... My liberty gets **** for mileage. My new Dodge truck doesn't do too bad, but could be better especially when towing. It's got the tow package, so the rear end is geared a little lower and that doesn't help unless you are going slow. |
