Family got me a set of Dr. WHO DVDs in the hopes I'd watch TV. *It works. *Kinda addicting although silly. *Each episode is just long enough to not lose my interest, and no damn commercials. Liberals are like Daleks (but a lot less competent), every time you try to be nice to em they turn on you. |

Most of em are not that good but one called "Blink" blew me away. No violence, no real monsters but truly bizarre. I gotta give credit to the writer of that one. Afterwards, I just sat there and thought "Whoa, that was really weird".. |

Afterwards, I just sat there and thought "Whoa, that was really weird".. "Blink" was very well received and won a number of awards. It was written by Stephen Moffat and directed Hettie MacDonald both of whom are high regarded BBC contributers. It was one of the episodes that I watched twice back-to-back - there's a lot going on in that episode and you don't catch everything at first viewing. There two episodes in Series Four - "Forest of The Dead" and "Silence in The Library" that are very similar - "Forest of The Dead" is another award winner. |
