All the old Vietnam vets here might like 'Helicopter Wars', a 60 minute
program on the National Geographic channel. It tells the story of 4 guys
involved in one of the most heroic rescue missions of that war.
They actually had to use their HUEY chopper blades as an improvised weed
wacker to chop landing zones out of a bamboo forest while rescuing about a
hundred men under fire from a large North Vietnam Army unit back in 1967.
To make it even scarier...one of the choppers was an unarmed 'VIP' version
meant to carry the chaplain on Sunday rounds.
