It's definetly worth a look see then - in particular if the price is right. If you are really into boats of a "certain age" you might want to look into Uniflite Salty Dogs. Believe it or not, they have aged very nicely and owners really take care of them. They look a lot like the 28' Topaz sport fisherman. Salty Dog owners are sort of a "cult" if you will - they really look after their boats. There are two of them down at the marina I'm associated with and damn me if they don't look brand new. There are a couple of other Uniflite models that are well thought of in that size range, but at the moment I can't think of their names. |
