Boat building was much more fun.. Stop whining: find someone who knows how to handle sheet metal, and has the tools to do the job properly and neatly. Since it is a "residential" homeowner job, maybe you can find a retired member of the sheet metal workers union, or another skilled tradesworker. Call (850) 224-4440?, the Florida Building & Construction Trades Council, for a local union number. The business agent should be able to send you someone skilled. I had a retiree come by, measure, and make in his home shop some copper window box liners. Yeah, sure. |
