on the Grand Banks. :-)

If you are serious, you could get some smaller gunnel mounted outriggers
like these.

Add some Taco telescoping outriggers and you will still have a decent
spread for a fraction of the cost of those you saw on the sport fisherman.

Interesting idea. Unfortunately we do not have gunnels in any
conventional sense of the word, just a lot of varnished teak top rails
and toe rails. I do have some places where I can clamp rod holders
however so might possibly be able to do something with the telescoping
poles.
