A 13 ft boat needs bigger oars, no question about it. You've gotten some good advice on oar locks also. My personal preference would be round ones with collars on the oars. On a safety note, "U" shaped oar locks must be removed at all times when not in use. They are a serious source of injury if someone falls on them. |
