Default Great day on the water.

Took daughter number two and three of her kids out for a day's playing
on the Potomac. The weather was great with just enough wind to let the
boat bounce enough for the kids to enjoy. That little (18') Key West
seems to handle wakes much better than the 21' Proline.

Went to a boaters' beach in Belmont Bay, just outside Occoquan. Lots
of boats, in the neighborhood of 100. The beach is now part of a state
park, Mason Neck, and is patrolled by Park Rangers. The amount of
drinking has gone way down, and there are no more fires allowed. But,
the kids had a super time. Can't wait to go again.

Here's an overhead of the little bay. The photo was most definitely
taken in winter, 'cause there's not a boat to be seen.

I spent the weekend on the boat, but I didn't mention it because I hate
to interrupt this flame fest with a boating discussion.

It looks like Donnie and Harry spent the entire weekend at their computer.

The link doesn't link you to your photo, just to Google Maps. You have
to browse the photos to find yours. I am sure it was a good one.

That was Harry's big mistake. Did you see where he got clobbered
yesterday? It wasn't a pretty sight.

Sounds like you had a great time. We were out all day yesterday as
well... on the water by 9:30, put the boat back in the slip around
6:30. Finally took the skis out to the boat, and my wife and I both
skied a couple of times. That 250 will yank a slalom right out of the
water.

I'll bet. The 150 puts that Key West on plane right quick. I guess
I'll have to get a pull toy of some sort. The grand kids, and their
mom, were asking about it yesterday.

I wanted to go out on the boat. But daughter and grandbaby were home for
the weekend, and to may appointments with friends. And fighting a lingering
cold like illness that is going around.
