Took daughter number two and three of her kids out for a day's playing
on the Potomac. The weather was great with just enough wind to let the
boat bounce enough for the kids to enjoy. That little (18') Key West
seems to handle wakes much better than the 21' Proline.
Went to a boaters' beach in Belmont Bay, just outside Occoquan. Lots
of boats, in the neighborhood of 100. The beach is now part of a state
park, Mason Neck, and is patrolled by Park Rangers. The amount of
drinking has gone way down, and there are no more fires allowed. But,
the kids had a super time. Can't wait to go again.

Here's an overhead of the little bay. The photo was most definitely
taken in winter, 'cause there's not a boat to be seen.

I spent the weekend on the boat, but I didn't mention it because I
hate to interrupt this flame fest with a boating discussion.

It looks like Donnie and Harry spent the entire weekend at their
computer.

That was Harry's big mistake. Did you see where he got clobbered
yesterday? It wasn't a pretty sight.

Harry and Donnie are masochist, they enjoy it.
