Besides, I don't think the rate increases in that link are right. I read elsewhere Quinn planned to sock the $+100k income crowd. Not sure though. I'm not up on state tax rates, but was pleased when Illinois didn't tax some retirement money I took from my IRA. Just found out this year they don't tax that. A much wealthier friend is happy about that too, and seemed to imply it's unusual for an "income tax" state. I didn't really look into it. Scared. --Vic |
