I have a Boss 900 CD multi track digital recorder that allows you to do
this.

Problem is, I can't figure out how you do it, for the life of me.

I'd rather have an old TEAC sound on sound, reel to reel tape deck. *That*
I know how to use.

YUP! This guy seemed to have a foot switch that he used. I've seen it
done, but it took a sound man operating the digital recorder.
