She seems to ignore the fact that a new president was going to be elected
with or without her involvement or position in Congress. Bush's time was
over. Both candidates .... Obama and McCain were and are on record has
opposing torture.

She really doesn't serve the Democratic Party very well. She serves
herself.

It's a classic case of hubris run amok. She's used threats,
intimidation, supported corrupt members like Jefferson and Murtha,
stifled ethics investigations (PMA) - she thinks she can get away with
anything including lying about what she knew and when she knew it.

that they are gladly going to stand by and let her hang herself.

I have never heard anyone conduct a press conference who actually
sounded like she was lying. I would give 10 to 1 odds, that a voice
stress test would show that she was lying.

Pelosi is a light weight, and I wouldn't mind seeing her gone, but it

familiar with intelligence briefings.
Willie asked him if he "bought" Pelosi's story that the CIA informed her
that water boarding had not been used, as she claims.

His answer? * "I've attended many classified intelligence briefings. *
