Absolutely. Fair is fair. I've been bitten by enough fish and hooked
myself often enough to appreciate the "other side" even more. A few
thousand more sport hunters shot every year will only improve the breed.

Ever since I got my first tackle box at age ten or so, I have carried
needlenose pliers with good wire cutters. Those treble hooks on lures
are put on with screws, you can replace any you have to cut.
Never hooked myself, but I once loaned the pliers to someone who had.
