The tragedies in NY, PA and now WA could have been averted if everyone
owned and carried a gun. We clearly need to arm everyone, including
small children who may otherwise fall victim to their own parents.

We also need to adopt a policy of shooting first and asking the
questions later. Everyone is a suspected perpetrator until an autopsy
proves otherwise.

We should also get the word out as quickly as possible that Obama
plans on taking our guns away so we can get some use out of them
before that day comes.

Mostly, we need guns to deal with people like you.

Yes, surely. If one of your children turn out like me you'll take care
of them with a gun before they have a chance to do you in.

Not much chance of fleeing when your floor plan is double wide.

Actually, two of my children hold CCF permits. One is a commissioned police
officer in a city of more than a million people. The other is just a
housewife who likes to shoot skeet. They all know how to handle guns, and
started shooting, the earliest at age 8.

It must be pretty cramped in that double wide.

Congratulations on having gun carrying kids. I hope they never find
themselves in a situation that'd cause them to discharge their weapons
in the direction of another human being, either by necessity or
mistakenly.

I wish they didn't feel the necessity to carry weapons at all but, in
support of free capitalism, gun manufacturers have been certain to
make them readily available by the thousands at cheap prices for any
goon to purchase. They've purchased the freedom of legislation that
would've put any reasonable restrictions on their easy availability.

And the idiots who want to prevent checks on those who purchase at gun
shows also paid their way to prevent legislation.

I'd be curious to know how your police officer son feels about the
lack of restrictions on gun show sales. And how he feels about the
availabiity of bullets available to the general public designed to rip
flesh to bits.

My double wide is 3400 square feel and three floors high.

A housewife with a CCF permit? Does she shoot skeet at the market or
as she's taking the kids to school? Where will this insanity lead?

I'll tell you where. To a trailer park in Washington State where 5
kids were shot to death by an emotionally unstable father. To 14
people dead at an immigrants center, with 3 cops dead one week and 4
the next.

You think every armed is a good idea? That's where we're headed.

My "kids" are 26, 30, 34, and 40 years old. Apparently you don't know this,
but in order to get a CCF, one must pass several levels of investigation,
the FBI and AFIS being two of them. The sargent in the police force has
been involved in one firefight, and used his AR15. "Mistakenly" shooting in
another person's direction is a violation of the law.

Nah, those nasty framers of the Constitution did it by a secret conspiracy.
And I choose to let my children make their own choices rather than "wishing"
about their conduct.

And the idiots who want to prevent checks on those who purchase at gun
shows also paid their way to prevent legislation.

You got records? I'm sure the ATF would be interested. What's that? You
dog ate your evidence? Is he an antigunner, too?

You must admit, when a person owns multiple registered guns, has CCF permits
that are reciprocal in up to 39 states, and has proper identification,
making them wait for a waiting period is just a little silly. If they
wanted to shoot someone, wouldn't they just go home and get a gun they
ALREADY HAVE?

I'd be curious to know how your police officer son feels about the
lack of restrictions on gun show sales. And how he feels about the

He dislikes it as much as any man. He is a realist, and knows that his main
job is to protect good people from bad ones. And he is also realistic
enough to know that guns are simple to buy on the streets. Has legislation
helped Washington D.C.? Or New York City? Or .......?

My double wide is 3400 square feel and three floors high.

Well, save yer money and get indoor plumbing and electricity. Set your
goals high.

A housewife with a CCF permit? Does she shoot skeet at the market or
as she's taking the kids to school? Where will this insanity lead?

She shoots for fun. She used to go quail hunting with me, then she grew up
and went to college and got married and had kids, so now she has to fulfill
her Fearless Fosdick fantasy with murdering poor little skeets. But she
does carry a gun most of the time she leaves the house. She worked for the
State of ******** for a good while in their courts system, and knows that
there are bad people in this world.

I'll tell you where. To a trailer park in Washington State where 5

And there will be more this week and next. You can't stop the crazy people
in the world. Pol Pot and the Khymer Rouge killed thousands by pounding
stakes into their medulla because they did not want to waste the money on
bullets. And to take the guns away from all would only allow all the
Obamaites, his ilk, and future ilk from robbing us of another right tomorrow
and another the next day and another the next day. I think you got a lot
more to worry about than guns, my friend. Next week, your car is going to
be too big and not get enough MPG. After that, your thermostat has been
impounded because they took pictures from a satellite, and your house was
identified as being too warm. (They are already doing this in England and
Europe.) Don't forget the ban on sharp sticks, Ginsu knives, Louisville
Sluggers, and crew socks, which are frequently filled with golf balls and
used to beat people. Oh, yeah, golf balls will then be outlawed, too.

You think every armed is a good idea? That's where we're headed.

I can live with that. Because I don't use them for bad things. I like
Vermont's law. Any person who is carry a concealed firearm with no illegal
intent is not required to have a permit. It's a proven fact that crime has
gone down in states that allow CCF because the wolves now know the sheep may
be armed.

If you want a cause, fight for liberty, and don't let the government strip
it away. You may get your way about guns, but are you really going to turn
in your thermostat and golf balls?

It could happen, and that is where we are REALLY headed.

Steve

I'm totally relaxed so no need to worry. It's the buffoons who think
Obama's coming to take their guns away that need to relax.

And I'm sure there's little chance you'd have had a kid like me.
First, you'd have had to attract a mate with a 200+ IQ to come close
to producing a child like me. I'm sure the odds were orders of
magnitude short of likely. Second, oh hell I don't even need a second
reason.

No worries tho', I'm sure your kids are considered competent to stand
trial in any southern court and probably even smart enough to fill out
the paperwork necessary to be granted a concealed carry permit.
