Oh man, my arm hurts. I thought I'd slept on it wrong a couple weeks

pain from the outside of the elbow on my right arm and it travels up

and say there is a bad that one can wear around the fore-arm that can
help to get rid of the pain and possible put all back in order, but I
haven't explored the idea yet. It's starting to become difficult to
grip hand tools.

Anybody had any experience with this?

Really. If that's what your problem is, then I would suggest you find
another fantasy to occupy your juvenile mind.

*Yup, started with a wrist and now it is both wrists and a knee.

Mine turned out to be some kind of arthritis similar to Rheumatoid but
with a normal RH blood count. Essentially they are baffled.
The place to start is a sport medicine guy tho. They will find all the
easy stuff.
BTW the physical therapist was the real shining star in the whole
miserable, 11 month, 4 different specialist, foray through the medical
establishment.

Bad typing, i did mean to say a "band" instead of a "bad" But this
pain isn't like what one would normally consider as carpal tunnel,
it's on the top side of my arm, instead of deep inside . But anyhow.
More to the story. Like what Don was describing. about 16 years ago I
crushed my right wrist, and I can use my hand fine, but I have limited
use fo my wrist and ever since, it's had a dull pain that you can't
get away from. you just learn that this is the way it is and isn't
going to change.

i use a lot of pheumatic tools like butterfly wrenches and half inch
drive air guns. I'm right handed so it gets used the most and I feel
that because of my work routine over the years, it's catching up to
me. PLUS, I think that hanging around on a computer keyboard isn't
really helping either. so I'm investigating getting a more "egronomic"
keyboard, and chaning the position of the angle of my arm so it's not
in the same place as it was.

I apreciate what harry suggested abotu going to a dr. but I don't
think it's anything serious, but it is worth getting some professional
advice.

About 35 mi. away is an excellent hand specialist who has had a
fantastic practice for over 30 years, and I'm going to call to see
about getting an apointment with him, probably tomorrow.

Tim, I've used the gel anti-vibration style motorcycle gloves for
years. I love 'em. Don't know about the grease, but I've put oil on
leather for many years. It seems to help it, not hurt it.

Well, the Mrs. did ding my old wrist brace from out of the closet, so
I'll wear it tonight.

http://www.crescentproducts.com/shop/images/668.jpg

I used to wear it in the evenings and sleep with it on. It was kind of
irritating for extended periods of time but it sure helped a lot when
I got the cast off many years ago. Its a cheap-o, but it might help
this time around too. I'll find out.
