Can anyone give me a heads up about this motor. I know that I can get
the mfr. date off the main frame, and it will tell me. I did not know
this when I tested the boat, but read it after. But, I went and got
three plugs for it, and now I see pictures of it with four cylinders. I
had a 40 Merc short shank years ago in the seventies, and IIRC, it had
three cylinders.

Serial number please. :-)

Won't get that until Friday. Have read on Google the date of mfr. is right
above the SN.
